Apply for a Travel Grant!
The Board of the European Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (EAVLD) is delighted to announce that applications are now open for 13 participation grants for the 8th EAVLD Congress, which will take place in Athens, Greece, from 19 to 21 October 2026.
All applications will be evaluated based on the established eligibility criteria as well as the scientific quality of the submitted work. Accordingly, each application must be accompanied by an abstract.
To encourage wide participation, the Board will provide two types of grants:
GRANT CATEGORY A
- Three grants of €1,000 each.
- Preference will be given to applicants from low- and middle-income countries, in line with current OECD DAC eligibility criteria.
GRANT CATEGORY B
- Ten grants covering full registration fees.
- Open to early-career scientists – final-year undergraduates or doctoral candidates – presenting at the 8th EAVLD Congress.
